Proud Family / Culture Shock (S03E03)

This makes me feel so bittersweet knowing how good we had it with programming for Disney back in the day. Because I know that the Disney channel of today wouldn’t even GO NEAR an issue like this despite how important it would be especially in today’s world. Real talk I learned what a Hijab was and the word for it THROUGH the proud family when I was a kid. Can you imagine what kind of programming like this would have in today’s world for children post trump? I just wish for Disney to get a backbone and not be afraid to say things again when it came to kids programing.
